Tutoring

Edmonds School District offers free online tutoring through Paper.  This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Students can log in here: app.paper.co

Study Hawks

Study Hawks runs Monday-Thursday from 2-3 pm in the library. Students can use the hour after school to work on homework in the quiet and spacious library, or take advantage of our tutors who are available by request. If a
student wants to request a tutor, they can go to the PASS Canvas page and fill out the Google Form.

Study Hawks is a great way to catch up and make progress in classes. Transportation is not available, so be sure to arrange a way to get home.

Mental Health

Find a Therapist/Counselor

Are you interested in finding a community based mental health therapist?  Your counselor can help you get started. 

Edmonds School District uses a service called Care Solace that connects you with a case manager that can help find a therapist near you.  The service is free for students.  Care Solace can help find a therapist that takes your insurance or free services if you are uninsured.  

Additionally there are limited therapeutic mental health services are available to students during the school day.

Make an appointment with your counselor to get started.

Emergency Medical Services - Call 911

If the situation is potentially life-threatening, get immediate emergency assistance by calling 911, available 24 hours a day.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline - Call 988 or Live Online Chat

If you or someone you know is suicidal or in emotional distress, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Trained crisis workers are available to talk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your confidential and toll-free call goes to the nearest crisis center in the Lifeline national network. These centers provide crisis counseling and mental health referrals.

  • Edmonds School District Family Resources - Start here for all sorts of resources for students and families.
     
  • Clothes for Kids - Provides free clothing and school supplies for families in need. 
     
  • Cocoon House - Fosters personal growth and healthy relationships to strengthen and empower at-risk and homeless youth and their families.  Cocoon House helps parents through a free 90-minute phone consultation with a Masters level therapist. Such calls help parents find support and develop an action plan to address the difficult issues they and their teens face.
