College Applications

Mountlake Terrace High School uses Naviance for supporting students with their college applications.  Students are required to use Naviance to submit their transcript, letter of recommendations, and other documents to colleges.  For more information, please visit the Career Center page.

Final Transcripts for Colleges

Once you have made your final commitment to a college for next year, you MUST update your Naviance.

Failure to do so will mean that your college will not receive your final transcript and your acceptance may be rescinded.

Part 1: Set Your Attending College

  1. Log in to Naviance.  Directions available here: https://mths.edmonds.wednet.edu/counseling/career-center/naviance-student
  2. Click on the "Colleges" menu and select "Colleges I'm Applying To".
  3. Scroll down and select the "College that I'm Attending" and click "Update".

Part 2: Request Final Transcript

  1. Click on the "Colleges" menu and select "Manage Transcripts".
  2. Make sure that the college you are attending is listed and that under "Final" it is showing as "Requested".
  3. If not, you will need to request a Final Transcript to be sent to the college. Final Transcripts will be available in July.

If you run into problems over the summer, you will need to contact the Edmonds School District Offices as the Counseling Office at MTHS will be closed until late August.

Your Edmonds School District email address will be turned off this summer. If/when you need to log in to Naviance after June to order transcripts, you will need to log in as an Alumni using the email you provided in your Senior Exit Survey and say "Forgot Password". Then a link will be sent for you to create a password.
