 FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION: FAFSA BASICS
Planning on attending college?  Wondering how to get financial aid?

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is where is all starts.  A family's finances are input in to the
FAFSA.  Colleges and Universities compare their funds available and the cost of attendance (COA) with the scholarships and grants a student is eligible for, based on the family finances. This is reported via the Expected Family Contribution (EFC).  The FAFSA application opens on October 1 each year.  Learn more.
